DECA Sixers Invitational

A few dozen of DECA kids had the opportunity to go to the Wells Fargo center with Mr.Meehan and learned all about the complex and all the businessy details! The real fun was when they got to stay for the Sixers game against the Houston Rockets! Friends got to enjoy big buckets of Chickie and Pete’s fries, Polish Water Ice and people won free stuff! Although the Sixers did not win, the experience of learning about the Wells Fargo center and the pure joy of being with friends through it made up for the lost.

Upper Darby Halloween Tailgate 2014

On October 31, 2014, the Royal Revolution hosted our very first Halloween Tailgate at Upper Darby High. We had students from special education to advanced placement students as well as kids from the performing arts and athletics. We thank all teachers and students who came out to celebrate your Halloween evenings with us, it was a very fun and successful night! We hope to see you again at our future events here at Upper Darby!

Upper Darby Band Night

A big thanks and congratulations to the Drexel Hill and Beverly Hills Middle Schools for a fantastic show they had displayed tonight on the big field! The two band played during pre-game of the Royal's football game against Pennwood. They played selections like Let It Go from Frozen, Firework by Katy Perry,  Happy by Pharrell and also assisted the high school band in the stands! Great job kids! Everyone is super proud!

FBLA Financial Leadership Conference

Kids from our awesome business department got to visit Widener today to learn about being financially smart through school and into adulthood! They also got to play financial football against other schools to win Wawa vouchers! 

Some students ended the conference in the freedom hall with all you can eat buffet style lunch! (But also studiously working on homework in between bites too!)

Making a Difference

Royal Revolution helped organized a dress down day at Upper Darby High School on October 31, 2014 in support of Royal Revolution and to raise money for breast cancer treatment at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. From donations from our beloved students, teachers, and staff, Upper Darby High School raised over $2,200 and $1,200 will be given to DCMH. At the board meeting on November 11, we hope you come by and witness the Royal Revolution present the check to DCMH and display one of the many acts of kindness made by our school.
